3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for the following purposes:
- Service Operation: To provide card scanning, identification, pricing, and collection management features.
- AI and Model Improvement: Scan images and associated data may be used to train and improve our machine learning models, card identification algorithms, and pricing accuracy. This is a core part of how we improve the Service for all users.

4. Image Data
We want to be transparent about how we handle scan images. When you use NinePocket to scan trading cards, the images you submit are:
- Stored on our servers for processing and to provide the Service.
- Used to improve our card identification and pricing technology, including training machine learning models.
- Retained indefinitely, even after you delete your account, as they may have already been incorporated into our training datasets.
- Potentially used in anonymized or aggregated form for research and development.
Images are not sold to third parties and are not used for advertising purposes. However, insights derived from aggregated image data may inform product development decisions.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect or process your data:
- Supabase: Cloud database service used to store account information and application data.
- Google Analytics: Web analytics service used to track and analyze usage patterns. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies.
- Cloudflare: CDN and security service that may process request data for performance and security purposes.
- FormSubmit: Form submission service used to process waitlist signups. When you submit the waitlist form, your data is transmitted through FormSubmit's servers to deliver it to us via email.
6. Data Retention
Account information is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request account deletion, we will remove your account information within a reasonable timeframe. However, scan images and training data derived from your usage may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form indefinitely, as removing individual contributions from trained models is not technically feasible.

- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal information (subject to the data retention limitations described above).

We do not sell personal information. To exercise your CCPA rights, contact us at ninepocketapp@gmail.com.
